Are You Doing Your Part?

I love asking questions because I get to learn from those who are the subject matter experts. In this case the Bible is the subject matter expert. Many like to talk about the devil and what the Bible says about him. The Bible says much about Satan, however I want to focus on how the word responds to him and gives us all a voice. “The thief comes only to steal, slaughter, and destroy. I have come that they might have life, and have it abundantly!” John‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭TLV‬‬. I have had the pleasure of listening to many people who who go on and on about what the devil is doing. I acknowledge the devil exists, however, look at what follows with, Jesus tells us yes there is a thief, however here is what He came to do, He was born and died that we might have life and have it more abundantly. Is that not amazing? I’ll ask the question are we doing our part? Doing our part simply means we acknowledge and are fully aware the thief, Satan, exists however as a born again believer we have life and it even comes with abundance. When people choose to focus on all the thief is doing it can lead to living in fear and it’s kind of hard to read or see the subject matter expert, God, if all you focus on is the thief. The word is so powerful and just as Jesus told Satan when he took him on the mountain, “it is written...” we must know what is written and do our part. We must know that we cannot live by bread alone, you’ll be full, but still in need of more. Satan knows his job very well and is doing his part to cause confusion, division, while killing, stealing, and destroying us. Jesus told us what He came to do for us despite of the devil and his same old schemes and tactics. Yes, Jesus still died for us all. Today I challenge you to do your part because Satan will continue to do his. You are more than a conqueror and when you have the great One living inside of you you can live life trusting in every word from the subject matter expert the Bible. Read, fast, pray, and grow both spiritually and naturally. You were born to win because it is written.
