What is the movie about?
The Kismet Love Paisa Dilli is a movie that revolves around one night in Delhi, where a middle-class guy falls in love with a girl anchoring a fashion show. However, things get complicated when someone plants a sting operation tape in his pocket, which has a minister talking of buying and selling MLAs and media heads from his Swiss bank accounts. Unaware of this, he is chased by corrupt cops and good guys who want to get that tape back. Along the way, he also gets involved in various misadventures and encounters with different characters.
The plot summary
The movie begins with Lokesh (Vivek Oberoi), a Delhi university student who always talks against corruption, boarding a bus to go back to his home. On the bus, he meets Lovina (Mallika Sherawat), a girl who is anchoring a fashion show at a hotel. He is instantly attracted to her and tries to woo her. However, he misses his stop and ends up at the hotel with her. There, he accidentally gets hold of a sting operation tape that was planted by Anamika (Neha Dhupia), a journalist who wants to expose a corrupt minister named Kaptan Sahab (Ashutosh Rana).
Lokesh does not know about the tape and thinks it is a music CD. He decides to stay with Lovina for the night and hopes to get lucky with her. However, he soon realizes that he is being followed by various people who want to get the tape from him. These include corrupt cops led by Inspector Dhondiyal (Aseem Hattangadi), good guys led by Nunna (Anshuman Jha), who works for Anamika, and Kaptan Sahab's men led by Shishodiya (Navin Kaushik). Lokesh and Lovina try to escape from them and also encounter other characters such as Bhati (Ashutosh Kaushik), a taxi driver who helps them, Bajrang Dal activists who mistake them for eloping lovers, Popli (Vishwanath Chatterjee), a drug dealer who sells them ecstasy pills, Rohit (Bobby Vats), Lovina's ex-boyfriend who tries to rape her, Bamby (Tahir Raj B b70169992d
